Chairman of the Uzeltechsanoat Association reviewed the progress of projects implemented in the “Eltech Industrial” technopark
A working group led by the Chairman of the Uzeltechsanoat Association visited the “Eltech Industrial” technopark located in Tashkent region to assess the current status of ongoing industrial projects. During the visit, detailed presentations were made regarding the technological parameters of each project, production capacities, product types, and export potential.
Each project was analyzed based on the degree of localization, availability of raw materials, labor resources, and infrastructure. Clear instructions and necessary recommendations were given to ensure the timely commissioning of the facilities, to expand production volumes, and to increase export opportunities. The project initiators were also tasked with technological upgrades, improving product quality, and meeting international standards.
Today, the “Eltech Industrial” technopark is becoming one of the country’s largest industrial hubs in the field of electrical engineering. The technopark hosts production of microprocessor modules, high-voltage cables, copper pipes, transformer wires, household appliances, and other products. Investors include both domestic and international companies such as “Vades Group”, “Enco Group”, “Metal Processing Technology”, “Premier Electrotech”, “United Cable-Co”, “Nura Group”, and others.
The total value of projects underway in the technopark exceeds USD 439 million. More than 3,800 new jobs are expected to be created, with an annual export potential of around USD 590 million. The products will meet both domestic needs and international demand.
At the conclusion of the visit, discussions were held on the development of the technopark’s infrastructure, including plans for the construction of essential social facilities — a university, technical college, sports complex, polyclinic, office buildings, and service infrastructure.
