106 hectares of land have been allocated for the construction of the Eltech Industrial technology park

Two arrays with a total area of 106 hectares of land not used in agriculture, located in the territory of the Akhangaran district, have been allocated with the right of permanent use by the Management Directorate of the Eltech Industrial Technopark.

A decision of the regional khokim was signed on this.

It is worth noting that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to expand the technological processing of copper and rare metal raw materials" and on the initiative of the Head of our state, a copper cluster has been created in the Akhangaran district and 138 hectares of land have been allocated for it. In the future, it is planned to allocate an additional 110 hectares to the cluster.

The main activity of this cluster is aimed at deep processing of copper, rare earth metals and other mineral resources through a multi-stage technological cycle and the production of electrical equipment, electronics and other goods.

As of today, a general plan for the technopark has been developed, divided into 19 lots; 15 lots were sold via electronic auctions. 3 lots are at the construction stage, the initiators have started work on the remaining 16 lots.
